On Eating and Dining

Hello my wonderful Blahggers!

As a college student, I usually spend the first two meals of my day (lunch and dinner) eating food at or from one of the two locations on campus. (Or in my room if I just am too lazy to do much movement.) Usually, my roommate and I enjoy our meals together, and, if she isn't there, I see and sit with one of my other friends. However, some days I do end up eating alone.

One Bad Apple....

Hey, Blahggers!

So, I've been thinking...(I know, that's scary, isn't it?) You know the saying “One bad apple spoils the whole bunch?” It really is true. It can be taken both figuratively and literally.

What.

Have you ever sat and listened to your sibling playing the clarinet/saxophone/trumpet for the first time and couldn't listen anymore because it was so horrible? In my opinion, these are taken to the next level. Although they're probably more skilled musicians, the covers of these songs demonstrate....fairly little skill. By the end they get a little out of hand.

Stories & Soundtracks

Over Choir Tour this year I read the book Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. It was a fascinating read, although I'm not entirely sure I liked it. Anyhow, by accident I just stumbled upon the soundtrack for the movie on Spotify. The music is by Hans Zimmer and it is REALLY cool. And I didn't even know there WAS a movie. While I might not recommend the book to everyone, if you read the book, make sure to also listen to the soundtrack. Because dude. It's awesome.

Duck Tape Fixes ALLLL the Things!!!

"Hey!" Suggested Hannah, our dear friend, the daily blahgger. "You should do a post on duck tape!!"

Ooohkay...I thought. THIS should be fun. I get to not only talk about why "duck tape" is super handy,  but also yell at everyone that it's FREAKING DUCT TAPE. NOT DUCK TAPE.

Turns out I was wrong.

And a Half

Hiya, Blahggers!

Have you ever noticed how little kids always add "and a half" to the end of their age? But, have you ever heard someone say "I'm seventeen and a half," or, "I'm 47 and a half?" I certainly haven't...

Sunday, March 2, 2014

It's...MARCH??? Wait, but that means...

Holey moley, how time flies! It's almost been two months since I've started attending Bethany again. I've had a pretty good time, learned some things, but most importantly.
I started watching Bates Motel.
Time flies! Baha! It's a pun!...

Cupid and His Reflections

I have a question for you, Blahggers: Would you all be my Valentines???

Yes, it is that time of year once again. Cheesy cards, heart-shaped boxes filled with chocolates, and flowers (specifically red roses). On Februarth the 14th, an average of: 150 million cards are sent (making it the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas), 190 million roses are sold, two million weddings are held, and about 11 thousand kids are born nine months later. Oh, and, the number 1 song played on Valentine's Day is, you guessed it, "Mary Me" by Train. This is the time for love and romance, and a time for Cupid to come forth as a symbol of loves power and sudden invasion of the heart.
